Avocado Toppers

These are stupidly simple you could make them with your eyes closed but amazingly delicious and filling - goes well with Mme Guiliano's way of the French life. Avocado's are full of monounsaturated fat, and such serves as an important staple in our diets.

You will need:

1/2 ripe avocado
lemon - just need a few drops
2 x slices of sourdough bread or 1 x slice of normal sized loaf toasted
Toppings: Such as cooked meats etc.
Salt and pepper to taste.

Firstly take out to stone of the avocado and peel off the skin. Chop it up into easy to manage chunks(unless you do it my way if they're really ripe simply squeeze the flesh out) into a bowl.

Get a fork and mash it up into a chunky texture. The add a couple of squeezes of lemon juice and some salt and pepper.

Spread this onto your toasted bread and top with your topping today I had left over roasted chicken...

I usually have mine with a green salad or plain steamed broccoli.... delicious
